Dahlia Dividing Workshop!
If you love Dahlias, you know you can never have too many in your garden! You probably also know that under the soil, they have tubers and that these can be divided. Why would you want to do that? Because each tuber will grow an entirely new plant the following year! Yay! However, many folks are not quite sure how to complete the dividing process and it can be intimidating. Then, you have to store them correctly so they don’t dry up or rot during the winter. In this class we will cover how to dog them up, divide them and then store them successfully! Each student leave with a FREE tuber from our farm! Bring your own clump ( dig up and rinse off the morning before coming!) or you can work on one of ours ! Hope to see you there! One of the magical things about Dahlias is that you can divide their tubers (the part that grow under the dirt) and each one of those little tubers will grow an entire new plant next season for you! That means MORE dahlias and isn’t that what we all want!? Don’t need MORE of your dahlias? You can also trade your tubers withe friends and neighbors! Collecting more varieties is part of the fun! For this class you have 2 choices:
1) Bring your own dahlia clumps
or
2) Work on dividing one of ours
If you choose to bring your own: be sure to dig yours up the day before class or the morning of, using a pitchfork carefully so you don’t break or pierce the tubers. Give it a good strong spray cleaning to remove dirt. Let dry, out of sun (not on concrete!) overnight and bring with you on Sunday. If you dig up your tubers too far in advance, leave them in the sun, or on a drying surface like concrete they will dry and shrivel. Store in a cool dark place until class.
Each person leaves with a Tuber! We will have Lark’s Ebb and Babette to choose from.
We will have clippers to use, but feel free to bring your own! Make sure to bring a container for your tubers if you are diving your own clumps. *This is an outdoor event. Please dress accordingly including gloves to keep your hands warm and that are appropriate for garden work.

Farm Fresh Flower Bouquets
Our vibrant, farm fresh flower bouquets are available in our stand Thursday, Friday & Sunday. We grow our flowers using earth friendly, non-toxic practices. With care, our flowers last up to 2 weeks making them a superior choice to big store bouquets.
Our hens are happy, healthy & loved. They free range as much as possible and have routine access to grass, sun, yummy bugs and fresh air. We feed supplementally with soy & corn free organic feed.
*We currently are at capacity for weekly eggs customers. Please email us if you would like to like to be added to our like for future egg availability. Join our email list if you would like to know when we have extra eggs available in the stand.
Baked From Scratch Goods
In the Spring & Fall, our in house baker gets busy making delicious classic homemade baked goods. Everything is made with real ingredients (organic whenever possible) and love! Baked goods can be found in the barn on select Saturdays. Check our Social Media accounts for up to date info or join our email list!

When We Are Open
We sell our Eggs from 9-4 on Saturdays. We often sell out the same day. We hope to add to our flock soon which means more eggs for you!
June into early fall our Flower Bouquets are in the farm stand Thursday through Saturday.
10am-6pm.
